My story
My story in a nutshell.
I went to Perth to challenge myself in a new environment, and I keep that challenger mindset wherever I go. It’s what drew me to digital, and the sense of achievement from producing results for clients keeps me going.
An Indonesian fellow in Perth
Born in 2000 in Lombok, I flew over to Perth in 2018 after high school to “merantau” (loosely, leaving home to earn a living) and see if I could study and thrive somewhere completely foreign.
Graduated right after COVID
In late 2021 I graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Tourism. Before that, I picked up digital marketing certifications to teach myself practical skills during lockdown.
Found work agency-side
Not long after graduating I interned agency-side and learned the basics of SEO, which led to a junior SEO role at Digital Hitmen. I’ve been there officially since 2022.
Nerd by day and after hours
I was a hardcore MOBA gamer who grinded rank non-stop. I’ve “reformed”, but the competitive spirit stuck. Off work I read comics and novels, and watch movies and K-drama.
